Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Oregonian, the McMinnville News-Register, Willamette Week and Salem Monthly, among other places. She is a regular contributor to Parents’ Choice Foundation where she writes about children and learning and also reviews products. She is also a contributor to Vancouver Family Magazine where she mostly writes about movies.
Her first novel – Crane Flies and Other Domestic Terrors – is a dark comedy about a suburban marriage in decline, and represented by the Inkwell Management Agency in New York.
She is an excellent speller, a menace at badminton and plays one Mozart sonata half-well.
